Retirement Planning Fundamentals Course Offered This Winter
This winter, our team has once again partnered with the Association of Financial Educators nonprofit organization to teach the Retirement Planning Fundamentals course in the Roswell, Alpharetta & Lawrenceville area.
Many of you have taken this educational and entertaining course before. Each course consists of 2 sessions. We teach in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere where participation and questions are encouraged!
The course sessions will be taught in January and February, and the registration period is now open. If you know someone who may have interest in taking the course, please feel free to forward this information to them. Here are the dates and location:
Roswell at the Roswell Adult Recreation Center

DIVIDENDS ARE THE RODNEY DANGERFIELD OF EQUITY INVESTING: they don’t get no respect at all.
On the surface, this may be somewhat understandable. After all, dividend yields aren’t anything to talk about. At around 6,800 on the S&P 500 as I write, the estimated $80 in dividends the Index threw off last year yields 1.2%. Even money market funds are yielding around three times as much these days. And in a booming stock market—that just turned in a third consecutive double-digit increase for the year—who cares about dividends anyway?
